Hi, I’m Ayako, mom of two girls, happily living in the Virginia countryside with my husband and our miniature schnauzer. At MAISON INA, I bake what I enjoy and believe in, shaped by my roots in Japan, a love of good pastry and bread, and a touch of seasonal inspiration.

Why I started baking

Growing up in Japan, I would come home from school to the warm, sweet aroma of freshly baked bread. My mom loved to bake, and our home was always filled with the comforting scent of something she made with care and love.

Now that I have a family of my own, I want to create that same feeling for my children to welcoming them with the scent of happiness, just like my mom did.

MAISON INA is my way of sharing that warmth, one handmade pastry and bread at a time.
